About Butterflies Pre-School
A Place to Shine for children from 2 years old. From September we will also be taking children from1 years old.
With our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Butterflies Pre-School, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

What Ofsted said...
Children and families are welcomed by happy, friendly and nurturing staff. They are excited to enter the setting, and they confidently separate from their parents with ease.
Children behave extremely well. This is due to the positive role models and high expectations staff have of every child.
Staff place a high priority on promoting children's healthy lifestyles and diets. They believe in the ethos of 'healthy body, healthy mind'. Children learn about the benefits of physical activity and talk about the different 'rainbow food' in their lunch box.
Parents speak highly of staff and value the care their children receive. Staff form positive partnerships with parents from the very beginning. This helps to ensure that children are happy and their needs are well met.
Staff maintain a safe environment for children. They complete thorough risk assessments to help ensure that the premises and trips off site are safe.

We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
We are registered with OFSTED and offer all funding options.
15 hours childcare for all families
All 3 and 4-year-olds who live in England are entitled to this offer irrespective of income levels, benefit status, or family circumstances.
30 hours childcare for eligible working families
Available for children aged 9 months to 4 years.
Some children will be eligible for up to 30 hours free education per week.
Funded Early Education Team (FEET)
Up to 15 hours per week free Early Education for Two year olds For children aged 2 years receiving some additional forms of support.

If your child is not eligible for this funding the charge per session is available on our current application form. Please speak with Jenni for more information on this. We are able to provide up to 36.5 hours per week at our preschool.
